Does Anyone Know About Risperdal?

My 6 year old step-son just started risperdal. He has a mood disorder NOS and Reactive Attachment Disorder. Will this help the biggest problems of these disorders, homicidal thoughts, aggression, ual behavior? If so, how much? Are there problems with the drug? Anyone who has taken it, how does it make you feel?
