Why are religious people/people against ity?

your question is right on!! as a kid growing up i was told that God made everything and everybody so if that is true didn't he know that he was creating gays and s. everybody is same and people should realize that we are all human being. the church suppose to be a place for healing and forgiving but a lot of church folks i have been around are not the most pleasant folks to be around.
